Boxes prepared for soldiers

Command Sgt. Maj. Dean Cline (retired) working with HT Hackney buyers at Newton warehouse, assembled enough product (candy, meat snacks, eye drops, cookies, health and beauty aids, etc.) to package more than 500 boxes to go to deployed North Carolina National Guard soldiers.

They are deployed throughout the Middle East and GTMO in Cuba. The event was sponsored by the North Carolina National Guard Soldiers & Airman Assistance Fund. Individuals from the association helped package and ship the boxes. With the help of HT Hackney, they assembled the items to be sent to the soldiers at the Hackney Service Merchandisers warehouse in Hickory.
