On Monday, kindergarteners throughout the county got a chance to experience making it to 100 for the very first time.

Dressed in their finest, “what would I look like if I were 100 years old” outfits, the first-year students celebrated their 100th day in school.

This was Jenkins Elementary Principal Ryan McCreary’s first time dressing up for the big day, and he saw it as a good opportunity to celebrate the accomplishments of his students in their first 100 days.

“We have a great time at Jenkins, and the kids are doing a wonderful job, and our staff is doing a great job with instruction,” McCreary said. “I’m really proud of them.”
